A sprint-like event where participants team up and create solutions to real-life challenges in an intense period of time. Using creativity, technology and mentoring, the week results in prototypes, fresh new concepts and innovation.
Code #LikeABosch is a hybrid hackathon looking for students, fresh graduates or early stage startuppers who are willing to solve the challenges given by Bosch in 48 hours offline in Budapest or online.
To submit your project create a 2 minute video pitch, upload it to YouTube and link it on the submission form, along with a GitHub repo. The video can have you talking, a live app demo (if you have one), some cool animation, etc... whatever fits best. Please observe these conditions strictly as in other cases we will unfortunately not be able to evaluate your project.
As soon as we have the 8 finalist teams, we will ask them to prepare for the live pitch. They will have to present their ideas in 4 minutes and after each pitch there will be a quick Q&A session. This part aims to provide a closer insight into these solutions. In the interest of having a fair selection, we only take into consideration the registered teams’ and the partners’ votes since they will have the most relevant opinion and insight into the projects.
We will announce the grand winner as a summarized result of both of these voting methods.
It is possible to win a Challenge Prize, the Grand Prize and the Audience Award. The only thing that's not possible is winning more than one Challenge Prize, since all of teams can submit their project to no more than one challenge.
Yes, you can enter the hackathon for free.
The hackathon is only for hungarian participants or students studying in Hungary currently and have a Hungarian TAX number. Although, we accept registrations from other countries as well, please note that only those teams can take home prizes where at least one of the members posseses a Hungarian TAX number.
The event’s language is English from start to finish, including the mentorings and the pitch sessions.
